About

Before launching Salt Air Society, I owned a small contracting business in the oil and gas industry and worked in the field as a Pipeline Inspector. Although living in Alberta for 9 years has given me amazing opportunities, it was ultimately isolating and made me miss my home town and the laid back lifestyle that Vancouver Island has to offer. After meeting now fiancé Alec, and introducing him to sea side living in Campbell River , we finally bought a house last year and made the move to BC… Since then it has been an ongoing personal quest to find myself in different artistic outlets and career opportunities until one fit. It’s as if finding your true passion is similar to an onion- there’s tons of layers and it is taken me peeling back many many different ideas to find what I want to do with my life. Throughout the years I’ve been building my portfolio of life skills to include photography, renovation, selling on e-commerce sites, taking endless workshops on marketing, selling and brand building and even obtaining a certificaiton for Event Management from Vancouver Island University.

All these small skills have led me to have a dream to build Salt Air Society Collective into a full on Lifestyle Brand with products, events and more.

Overall I’m an entrepreneur who traded in my travel backpack and hard hat for Vancouver Island life and being a mama to Nova.

Let’s build something together.
